As you may know, our head roaster Dove will be representing Aotearoa at the World Cup Tasters Championship in Geneva, this June. 

He has been working super hard to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. 

The awesome sponsors of the Aotearoa Cup Tasters Championship and the New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association have covered Dove’s flights and accommodation as part of the national prize. Winning this highly coveted Championship is the only pathway to represent Aotearoa on the world stage. 

Traveling and competing solo at the world stage can be overwhelming. So, we’re running a specialty coffee fundraiser to boost team NZ by flying an assistant to Geneva to help calm and calibrate Dove and to support him mentally and physically. Competition information: The Cup Tasters Championship is a competition awarding those who demonstrate speed, skill, and accuracy in discerning taste differences in specialty coffees. Competitors must identify the odd cup in a triangle of three with two identical coffees and one different, using smell, and taste, within eight differing sets.
